I just got home from taking Miss Em to her one month checkup, though she is actually 5 1/2 weeks. She is doing great! Here are her current stats: Length: 22 inches (75th percentile) Weight: 10 lb. 9 oz (80th percentile) She will go back in another month for her 2 month checkup, which includes the dreaded first shots.
It has been a rough few weeks around here health-wise for our entire family, but thankfully we all seem to finally be on the upswing from it all. Starting at Christmas, Eve and Cole both got hit with bronchitis and double ear infections. Then Chris and I came down with bad colds. And poor Emily got an upper respiratory tract infection that left her just miserable. I have been back and forth to the kids' pediatrician more times than I can count in the last few weeks! But I am just so very thankful that everyone made it through it all okay and we all seem to be getting healthy once again. God is good!
I am so excited that it is a new year full of possibilities and I am looking forward to what is to come for our family. Emily has seamlessly fit right in and has made the transition from 2 to 3 kids so easy on me. She is such a good baby and is already on a great schedule. Eve and Cole are both happy to be back in school after the holiday break and are doing wonderful. Hard to believe Miss Eve will be turning 6 years old next month!! I am so thankful to have 3 amazing kids and an awesome husband, and am really counting my blessings! Here is to an amazing 2013!!
